ปัญหาที่เจอบ่อย เจอศัพท์ยากในเนื้อเรื่องแล้วใจสั่น อ่านไม่เข้าใจทั้งย่อหน้า เสียเวลาจมอยู่กับคำเดียว ยิ่งเป็นข้อสอบ paraphrase/ synonym ยิ่งหนัก เพราะ choice มักใช้คำคนละชุดกับเนื้อเรื่อง
วิธีทำ
- ขีดคำสำคัญในคำถาม (noun หลัก / verb หลัก)
- scan เนื้อเรื่องด้วยสายตา — หาคำเดิม หรือคำในกลุ่มความหมายเดียวกัน
- ดู choice ว่าตัวไหนใช้คำต่างจากเนื้อเรื่องแต่ความหมายตรง
- เลือก choice ที่เป็น paraphrase ที่ถูกต้อง — ไม่ใช่คำ copy ตรงๆ
ตัวอย่าง คำถาม: "What is the primary cause of coral bleaching?"
เนื้อเรื่อง: "The main reason behind the whitening of corals is the rise in ocean temperature."
