ปัญหาที่เจอบ่อย ผู้สอบเขียน essay ไม่เป็นระบบ เขียนไปเรื่อยเปื่อย เนื้อหาไม่ตรงประเด็น (Task Response ตก) หรือความคิดต่อกันไม่ชัด (Coherence & Cohesion ตก) โดยเฉพาะ IELTS Writing Task 2 และ TOEFL Independent Writing ที่ต้องเขียน 250-300 คำใน 30-40 นาที
วิธีทำ
- 3 นาทีแรก — วางโครงสร้าง (Planning Phase):
- อ่าน prompt แล้วเขียน thesis statement 1 ประโยค
- เขียน topic sentence 3 อัน (Intro, Body 1, Body 2)
- ต่อ Body 1 และ Body 2 ด้วย具体ตัวอย่าง 1 อันต่อย่อหน้า
- 5 ประโยคต่อย่อหน้า (Structuring Phase):
- Body Paragraph ต้องมี 5 ประโยคเท่านั้น:
1) Topic sentence 2) Explanation / ขยายความ 3) Example (ตัวเลข/人名/เหตุการณ์จริง) 4) Analysis / วิเคราะห์ผล 5) Concluding link เชื่อมกลับ thesis
- 7 นาทีสุดท้าย — Revise Phase:
- ตรวจ Linking words 5 ตัว (Firstly, Moreover, However, Consequently, In conclusion)
- เช็ค Spelling 3 คำต้องห้าม: "Because" (อย่าสะกด becuz), "Government" (อย่าสะกด goverment), "Environment" (อย่าสะกด enviroment)
ตัวอย่าง Prompt: "Some people believe that university education should be free for all. Do you agree or disagree?"
- 3 นาที: Thesis = "While free university education promotes equality, I disagree because it leads to overcrowding and reduced quality."
- Body Paragraph 1 (5 ประโยค):
1) Free education increases enrollment beyond capacity. 2) When tuition is zero, more students apply regardless of readiness. 3) For example, Germany's free tuition policy saw a 20% enrollment surge in 2020. 4) This forced universities to cut class hours and reduce faculty. 5) Consequently, the quality of graduates declined — contradicting the goal of better education.
