Eliminate 3-1-0 — เทคนิค SAT Reading ตัดชอยส์เป็นระบบ

ปัญหาที่เจอบ่อย

นักเรียนมักเสียเวลาหลายนาทีอ่านทุก choice ทีละตัวในข้อสอบ SAT Reading โดยเฉพาะ passage ยาวๆ ทำให้เวลาหมดก่อนทำข้อสุดท้าย หรือเลือกตอบโดยไม่มั่นใจเพราะมัวแต่กังวลว่าชอยส์ไหนถูกกันแน่

วิธีทำ

1. อ่านโจทย์ให้เข้าใจก่อน — อย่าเพิ่งดู choice จนกว่าจะรู้ว่าโจทย์ถามอะไร
2. สแกน choice ทั้ง 4 ตัว และขีดฆ่า choice ที่ผิดชัดเจนทันที (ตรงข้ามกับ passage, ไม่มีในเนื้อหา, ใช้คำสุดโต่ง like 'always' 'never')
3. หากยังเหลือ choice มากกว่า 1 ตัว ให้กลับไปหา specific evidence ใน passage 1-2 ประโยคเท่านั้น
4. ใช้การจับคู่คำ synonym ระหว่าง choice กับ passage เพื่อยืนยัน choice ที่ถูกต้อง
5. ถ้า choice ที่เหลือ 2 ตัวแล้วยังตัดไม่ได้ ให้เลือกตัวที่ safer (ไม่สุดโต่ง, ไม่เติมข้อมูลเกิน) แล้ว mark ไว้ review

Passage: "While the industrial revolution brought about unprecedented economic growth, it also led to significant environmental degradation that persists to this day."

โจทย์: The author's attitude toward the industrial revolution can best be described as...

Choices: A) Entirely positive B) Completely negative C) Balanced with both positive and negative aspects D) Indifferent

ใช้เทคนิค 3-1-0: ตัด A ทันที (มี 'entirely' สุดโต่ง + passage ไม่ได้บอกว่าด้านเดียว), ตัด B ('completely' สุดโต่ง + passage ขึ้นต้นด้วย 'unprecedented economic growth' ซึ่งเป็น positive), ตัด D (passage แสดง clear opinion ไม่ใช่ indifferent) → เหลือ C ซึ่งถูกต้อง

สรุปจำง่าย

"ตัด 3 ผิด → เหลือ 1 ถูก → ถ้า 0 ให้เดาแบบมีหลัก" — ใช้เวลาไม่เกิน 45 วินาทีต่อข้อ
